Classification of Members

(A) Individual Member

Any qualified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dermatologist, Plastic Surgeon, ENT Surgeon, General Surgeon, or any qualified medical or dental specialist with post graduate qualification from a recognised university can apply for membership under the categories below.

(a) Life Member: Post graduates with a recognised Degree or Diploma in the specialties mentioned above shall join as Life Members on payment of life membership subscription. Life member should necessarily have to be a specialist (with a recognized) post graduate degree / diploma in the specialties as mentioned above.

(b) Associate Member: Postgraduate students in specialties as mentioned above shall be admitted as Associate Members for the period of post graduate Course. Postgraduates, on completion of their post graduation can become Life Members by paying the difference in the subscription fee at the time of becoming a Life Member. Associate Members shall have the right to attend scientific meetings, lectures, conventions and conferences but shall have no right in the working of the Association and will have no voting power. They cannot contest for any post during the elections. Graduates with MBBS and BDS are also eligible to be enrolled as Associate Members.

(c) Affiliate Member: Non-resident or overseas Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, ENT Surgeons, General Surgeons, Any dental specialist with MDS or any qualified doctors, dental surgeons who are interested in Facial Aesthetic Surgery are eligible to become affiliate members subject to approval of the Executive Committee. Affiliate Members shall have the right to attend scientific meetings, lectures, conventions and conferences but shall have no right in the working of the Association and will have no voting power. They cannot contest for any post during the elections.

(d) Honorary Members: Persons of high scientific or literary attainment or persons who have rendered outstanding services to the Association, if willing to be made as honorary members, and so recommended by the Executive committee by majority and approved by the General Body according to rules as hereinafter laid down. At any given time there shall not be more than 5 Honorary Members on the roll of the Association. Proposal for the election to the Honorary Membership shall be made by and shall be vouched by the personal knowledge of the proposer who shall submit a curriculum vita of his nominee while making the proposal. Honorary Members will not participate in the working of the Association and shall not vote or contest in any elections. No subscription shall be collected from honorary members.

(B) Corporate Member

(a) Platinum Member: Company with or without sub divisions are eligible to be a Platinum Member. The company will pay a one time membership fee. Entitlements include advertisement banner in the association website which will be complimentary for a lifetime. 20% discount offered in all advertisement of the association journal, publications of the association and conference, sponsorship of conference and trade stalls during the conference.

(b) Gold Member: Company without sub division is eligible to be a Gold Member. The company will pay a one time membership fee. 15% discount offered in all advertisement of the association journal, publications of the association and conference, sponsorship of conference and trade stalls during the conference.

(c) Silver Member: Distributor, Wholesalers, Stockiest and trade establishment are eligible to be a Silver Member. The member will pay a one time membership fee. 10% discount offered in all advertisement of the association journal, publications of the association and conference, sponsorship of conference and trade stalls during the conference.

The Corporate member should be represented by the CEO, MD, Director or anybody authorized by the company or firm, or a representative. This membership is transferable and application for the change of the member name to be addressed to the General Secretary.

Corporate Members shall have the right to attend scientific meetings, lectures, conventions and participate in the conferences but shall have no right in the working of the Association and will have no voting power. They cannot contest for any post during the elections.
