Where and how does the chosen extension attach?
Tape-in: They last for 4 to 8 weeks and should be gently combed and washed while wearing.
Clip On: Can be used without professional help and can be used for special occasions.
Bonding or Fusion: Specialised glue is used for fusion of hair extensions along with hot glue gun.
Most natural looking hair. These last for 8 to 10 weeks before repositioning is required.
Micro rings or loops: No heat or adhesives are used, small metal or silicone rings are used for
attachment and last for 8 to 10 weeks.
Other less commonly used methods are Netting, Lace Fronts and Tracking.
After Care of Integrated Hair:
♦ A mild Sulfate-free shampoo is recommended followed by good conditioner and hair
serum to avoid wear and tear of the extensions
♦ Depending on the method of attachment, repositioning is required regularly once your
natural hair length increases.
♦ Over styling with hot tools can reduce their life span.
♦ Extensions need to be handled gently - just as natural hair!
The most important thing to keep in mind while choosing Hair integrations is to choose a good
quality hair and the right method of attachment. It always needs to be done by a stylist who is
skilled.
Amateur hair integrations can looks akward and unnatural. They are the quickest way of adding a
lot of volume and length to your existing hair. Like every investment, the quality is proportional to
the cost!!
